1. About these terms
These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the VeratoAI website and any services provided by VeratoAI ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our services
VeratoAI provides AI governance advisory services to UK businesses, including but not limited to AI audits, policy development, staff training, tool registry management, ongoing governance retainers, EU AI Act readiness assessments, and ISO 42001 readiness consulting.
The specific scope, deliverables, and fees for any engagement will be agreed in writing before work begins. These Terms apply in addition to any specific engagement agreement.
3. Website use
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website

4. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, designs, and documentation — is owned by VeratoAI or its licensors and is protected by UK copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.
Any policies, reports, or materials we produce for you as part of an engagement are provided for your business use only and may not be resold or distributed to third parties without our permission.
5. Discovery calls and enquiries
Discovery calls are provided free of charge and without obligation. Any recommendations made during a discovery call are general in nature and do not constitute formal advice until a written engagement agreement is in place.
Information you provide via our contact forms or during calls will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Limitation of liability
Our advisory services are provided in good faith based on information available at the time. While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that our advice will prevent all risks or ensure compliance with all regulations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VeratoAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising from your use of our website or services.
Our total liability for any claim arising from an engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential. We will not disclose any information you share with us to third parties without your consent, except where required by law or where necessary to deliver our services (e.g. with sub-processors bound by confidentiality agreements).
We will never use your business as a case study, reference, or testimonial without your explicit written permission.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing service engagement by providing 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, any outstanding fees for work already completed become due immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to our website at any time without notice.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
